Tony Stewart was upset that David Pootaman was racing too hard early on in the Coca Cola 600. Tony Stewart thought he was arguing a good case, but Pootaman was like "It's a free country pal and I will race as hard as I damn well please". Pootaman's crew member starting jawing with Stewart and that is when the sparks almost began to fly. DW called Pootaman's crew member Billy Bad Butt and the name stuck. Dude does look like a rough customer who probably played Rugby in his day and really enjoys confrontations to belittle people.
